Las Vegas, NV – Floyd Mayweather shocked the world at a recent press conference when he admitted that he boxes solely for the money. “People can say it’s not all about the money. But you know, my kids can’t eat legacy. When it comes to legalized bank robbing, I’m the best,” he said after his fight with YouTuber Logan Paul.
“Unbelievable! I can’t believe he would tarnish the rich history of boxing by focusing on making a quick buck instead of focusing on getting his head pummeled! The boxers back in the day had more class. They got severe brain damage for mere nickels and loved it! Show some pride buddy!” said an onlooker who has never been in a fight a day in his life.
Some people were upset that Mayweather is also forgetting about the little people.”What about the hard working honest boxing promoters like Don King and Bob Arum? What are they going to do if these greedy boxers make all the money?” said another concerned boxing fan.
When asked if they saw the fight they responded that the pay-per-view cost too much. “Screw him, I’m not going to be a sucker.” One man screamed as he slammed down another $12 dollars for a pint of beer you can get at the supermarket for $6 a six-pack.
