Los Gatos, CA – Netflix has finally caved to the online mob regarding the Chappelle controversy and is pulling all offensive content from their streaming platform.
“We’ve heard the Twitter outrage and decided something must be done.” Netflix CEO, Ted Sarandos, announced at a press conference. “We evaluated the potential offensiveness of all our content and we are excited to report that the only show currently available to watch is…all 7 seasons of the Gilmore Girls!”
Sources close to the evaluation process revealed that Netflix hopes to add more shows but most seem problematic in one way or the other.
“We thought ‘7th Heaven’ was cancel-proof but turns out the actor who played the wife has never shared her preferred pronouns on Twitter. Oh yeah, the actor who played the dad was also a child molester or something.” The source explained. “We also wanted to add the show, ‘Hart of Dixie’ but Twitter told us that the word ‘dixie’ is racist, so we assume the show is racist as well.'”
As of this report Netflix is considering adding ‘The Big Bang Theory’ to their line-up, in hopes nobody will even watch the show and realize how offensively unfunny it is.
