Sheboygan, WI – Brenda Layton was shocked to learn her husband, Matt, of 14 years had not only never seen but had no interest in the Vin Diesel helmed franchise Fast & Furious.
“I knew something was immediately wrong when I came home and saw him staring at the blank TV set,” She confided to a close friend. “He sat me down and told me that he’s been living a lie.”
Matt proceeded to break the tragic news that he’s never been a fan of the billion dollar action saga about cars. “Vin Diesel is difficult to look at for long periods of time.” Sources close to the couple overheard him saying.
“The first film came out in 2001 so this has been a 20 year betrayal!” Brenda added through tears, “I’ve heard him talk about the film in depth at family BBQs with the guys. I’m so confused!”
A friend close to Matt explained that it’s pretty easy to talk about the films even if you’ve never seen them. “You just have to mention the cool cars, NOS, and the girls hot butts. Then you start high-fiving your buddies.” The friend, who refused to be named, woefully added. “Come to think of it I don’t know if I’ve ever seen the movies.”
Brenda confirmed that her and Matt are currently undergoing couples therapy and recently had a break through when she was finally able to admit that Vin Diesel “weirds her out.”
